Albion Online has released Dragonfire Patch 2, bringing a series of adjustments focused on improving the rewards from several Dragonfire features. The update targets specific content areas where loot output was previously underperforming, aiming to make these activities more rewarding for players. Additionally, the patch includes celebrations for the winners of Season 33, with new statues now visible in Conqueror’s Hall.
Loot Adjustments Detailed
Significant changes have been made to loot across various Dragonfire features. In the Ancient Lands, chests in Medium Ancient Lands now offer approximately 50% more non-Drake loot, while Large Ancient Lands chests have seen their base loot increased by roughly 140%. The Dragon Sanctuary has also received a substantial boost, with the chance of finding a Drake Egg in the final chest increasing by approximately 400%, and base loot from chests seeing an average increase of 100%.
Outlands Dragon Attacks are now more lucrative as well, with base loot from chests approximately doubled. A notable change here is that Fame is now awarded as part of the Might payout, replacing non-tradable Tomes of Insight in chests. This ensures that all participants in these attacks receive Fame, rather than just the player who opens the chest. The patch notes specify that the drop chances for new Dragon items, such as Dragon Armor items, have not been altered, preserving their value.
