Albion Online has released Dragonfire Patch 3, introducing notable changes to the Ancient Lands. The update focuses on improving accessibility to Small Ancient Lands Portals, particularly within Yellow Zones. This adjustment aims to make it easier for players to locate and enter these portals across the world map.
The patch also includes further modifications to Maeve and the Dragons appearing in the open world, alongside new targeting options specifically for mobile players. Additionally, a seven-day Fame and loot boost is active in the Dragon Sanctuary and the Ancient Lands.
Ancient Lands Portal Accessibility and Adjustments
Small Ancient Lands Portals in Yellow Zones will now appear more frequently. Their average spawn time has been significantly reduced, and their chance of appearing in each region has been increased. The lock time for these portals has been shortened to five minutes, while the window for players to enter them has been extended to ten minutes. These changes are intended to provide more consistent access to these portals for players.
However, this increased availability comes with a rebalancing of rewards. The Fame and loot obtained from Small Portals in Yellow Zones have been reduced. This adjustment was made to prevent an over-inflation of the in-game economy. It is important to note that this reduction does not apply to Small Portals found in Red and Black Zones, where the rewards remain unchanged from previous versions.
