World of Warcraft Forever is moving closer to its November 4th launch, with Blizzard confirming details for an upcoming name reservation period. Following the conclusion of its three-week beta test and a recent stress test, the reimagined classic MMO will allow eligible players to reserve character names starting next week.

The name reservation period is scheduled to begin in North America on October 27th at 4:00 pm eastern. This opportunity is available to players who have purchased one of the more expensive editions of the game. The announcement specifies that eligible players will be able to create and reserve names for a maximum of three characters across all rulesets.

Launch Content and Future Unlocks

Upon World of Warcraft Forever's launch on November 4th, both existing and new dungeons will become available. Blizzard has provided an overview of nine new dungeons that will be introduced with this version of the game, designed for a wide range of character levels. Players can expect a variety of content from day one.

Approximately one month after launch, the game will unlock its initial set of raids. On December 9th, three raids are scheduled to open: The Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit, and Onyxia's Lair. Access to Onyxia's Lair will require players to complete a lengthy attunement quest chain.
